Legacies: An Asian American Anthology
I was fortunate to participate in Legacies: An Asian American Anthology, and share my voice as an illustrator. Legacies is a collection of written works and art from many creatives sharing their stories of being Asian American and exploring their identities traversing life between two worlds.
The project was led by the wonderful Michelle Le in 2019 (through the University of California San Diego) and was successfully funded on Kickstarter. The anthology was so well received that a second volume was released within the following year, titled Celebrations. I was again invited to contribute as an illustrator and share my story of what “celebration” means to me as an Asian American (lots of childhood memories of dancing, performances, and traditional wear).
